Tidy
If you can commit time to tidying your home with me to create a lasting, transformative result under the Clementidyᵀᴹ Method. Using my background in sustainability and years of experience in cleaning & tidying, I will guide you through the process of assessing and organizing your belongings so that all you are left with are the things you cherish and the space you need to cherish them.
Tiny Tidy
If you want to declutter and organize a single category of items, like books on a bookshelf, the tools in the garage, or equipment in the shed, or have another small project in mind. I’m flexible!
Product Cleanup
If you want to “detox” your cleaning product collection but need some guidance. With a science-based approach I will work with you to inventory your cleaning products, assess your cleaning needs, and create a safer, more functional cleaning product collection using cutting-edge product safety research. This service can be done alongside or independent of the tidying process.

Methods
What is the Clementidyᵀᴹ Method of tidying? The Clementidyᵀᴹ Method is a streamlined method of tidying which will transform your relationship to your space, preventing clutter from ever returning. Items are kept only if they bring joy or contentment! It is inspired by the KonMari®, Hygge/Teolaí, and Slow Living movements as well as principles of ecological restoration and sustainability.
What are the goals of tidying? “Through tidying, you can reset your life and spend the rest of your life surrounded by the people and things that you love the most.” (KonMari.com). We work with each client to understand their goals. Example goals include increased efficiency, less stress, more joy, more collaboration, or working through life transitions, e.g., moving, bereavement, downsizing.
What does the tidying process look like? The Clementidyᵀᴹ Method encourages tidying by category, not by location. You begin with clothes & fabrics, then books & papers, before reviewing the rest of the categories of items unique to your home, ending with sentimental items. You decide which items you wish to hold onto during the discarding process before deciding how to store them in your home.
Why hire an organizing consultant? A consultant can guide you through the tidying process providing expertise, experience, support, and encouragement. The extra set of hands alone can help to keep things moving forward. I’m there to help clients achieve the goals they have for their space, no matter how big or how small. Clients often seek consultation services when working through life transitions, (e.g., welcoming a new family member, moving, downsizing, or bereavement) or when they have set their mind to accomplishing another big task at home.
Sessions
How long are sessions? You can choose the Half Day & Full Day option. Half Days are typically 4 to 5 hours long whereas Full Days typically range from 8 to 10 hours.
How many sessions will I need? The number of sessions needed varies from client-to-client and is determined by:
- the size of your space;
- how much you have;
- how quickly you make decisions;
- how much time you able to commit to the process;
- how much homework you are able to do between sessions;
- what your goals are.
Project estimates are determined on a case-by-case basis. Full home tidying treks rarely take less than 30-50 hours to complete at a minimum.
Pricing & Payment
What is the pricing? The rate is $55/hour.
What is the payment structure? Payments for full home Tidies are typically made via bundles which are paid up front throughout the project. Bundles can be purchased at any point during your clean & tidy journey, whether at project kickoff, to re-up midway, or to add additional services. Often clients chose a schedule for payment, such as bi-weekly or monthly. For smaller jobs like Tiny Tidies payment can be done the day of service.

How can I pay? You can pay using cash, Zelle, or credit card. Credit card purchases include an additional 3% fee.
When are payments due? Payment is due in advance of each session; payment must be issued at the start of each session at the latest. No work will be conducted without secure payment.
Are there any additional fees? If your home is located 30 miles or more from Inwood, NY, NY a $30 travel fee will be included for each in-person session. For each additional mile past 50 miles a $0.50 fee will be added to the travel fee. Cancellation/reschedule fees may also apply. See terms & conditions.

What is Clementidy’s service area? We serve in-person clients in Northern NYC, Northern New Jersey, Western Long Island, the Lower Hudson Valley, and southwestern Connecticut.
Our service area includes the following counties in NY, NJ, & CT: Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, Suffolk, Hudson, Union, Morris, Putnam, Orange, Fairfield.
